All About Your Stay at the domaine saint georges
The Château Saint Georges and the Villa Norah complete the Domaine Saint Georges on the Cote d’Azur in Grasse, France. The Château Saint Georges, coined “le petit Versailles,” is a stunning home built in the second half of the 19th century by a famous perfume creator from Grasse named Leon Chiris.
The château is well-loved for its beauty and even welcomed Queen Victoria of England as a guest in 1891. From the château’s terrace, one can look over the valley of Grasse and the lush vistas of the Riviera. We can’t wait to spend time together in the stunning Grande Cuisine, studded with blue marble accents in true Provençale Baroque fashion, and then share our meals in the luxurious Salon Napoleon. The château also has a lower-level spa, with a heated indoor swimming pool, hot tub, and sauna - ready to relax?
A short 3-minute walk from the château sits the Villa Norah, a beautiful turn-of-the-century villa with views over the valley all the way to the Mediterranean Sea. On the ground floor, you’ll find three beautiful sitting areas bathed in the Provençal sunshine through floor-to-ceiling windows. The terrace around the pool area, lush with palm trees, is perfect for enjoying an afternoon cocktail and your favorite book.
